How can I prevent damage to the braid while sleeping?
Increase the longevity of your style with the decadent pleasure of satin. The luxury of a slippery satin pillowcase will prevent fuzziness and breakage caused by regular cotton. A half-slip or satin nighty slid over the pillow can be used as well.

Some clients protect hairbraids over night by wearing a pair of pantyhose on the head. Simply cut the legs off an old pair or tie the legs around the head. Another option is a scarf or kerchief.
How can I make the braid last longer?
Daily use of hairspray will help the style stay in place and smooth.
Can I wash my braid?
Wash the hair gently only if absolutely necessary. Carefully wet hair without using too much water pressure. Apply a small amount of diluted shampoo, pre-lathered. Do not scrub. Gently pat in, then rinse out. Air dry or carefully blot with absorbant towel.
